Minimountains

'Mini' because I used a small canvas size for this. This is actually the full size that I was working with.

Anyway, it's a speedpaint thing! Because I want to improve my colour selecting abilities and stuff, so I scribbled this little scenery thing and coloured it using some new brushes. I uh... need to learn how to make better mountains, rocks, and grass, and uh... anything else relating to scenery. I didn't use any references though since it was meant to be more of a colour choosing and mixing practise session rather than a 'learn to draw scenery well' session.

I still need to work on contrast! I think I did the best with those rocks there because I kept wanting to add darker colours, but I feel I could have added some darker areas to the grass but didn't realise that until after I'd decided to call it 'done' or something. And the mountains probably need more contrast too. Pffllleeh.
