I feel bad about not commenting, but most of the time I can't think of anything to say .

But uhh... I vote "Yes, but I can't think of anything to say sometimes" because I feel like... that person doesn't understand why I appreciate their artwork if I do at all since, for all they know, I could just be one of those... favourite-everything-I-see people. But I find it difficult to comment on things that have already received a lot of comments because chances are, I'm going to repeat something someone ELSE said... though I'm sure that doesn't matter quite so much because it's still an individual's thoughts... one other person going out of their way to say that they enjoy the artwork in question. I've received some repetitive comments, but still enjoyed receiving them because that person went out of their way to give me some reasoning behind their favourite-adding.

I rarely comment OR favourite anything! (I think that you've been the only person recently whose art I've bothered to acknowledge in either of those ways... o_O I mean, I actually care more about polls and journals... or WOULD if peoples' weren't DULL or something.)
I do so hate just favouriting without commenting though, but I only favourite pictures that really astound me, and usually those types of pictures always have like a bajillion comments and favourites already, so I only favourite it for MYSELF because I don't really like giving ATTENTION to people who already have way too much of it, or something? o_O
Also, I always tell myself "right! I need to comment more! Starting now, I should comment on everything that comes into my inbox!"
I've said that numerous times OUT LOUD to myself, and whenever I do, it seems that nobody posts ANYTHING AT ALL, and I get like... 3 deviations in the whole week in my inbox (since I watch so few people), and they're like... photographs or something, which I NEVER comment on...
I always want to say something GOOD though! I mean, I DESPISE comments like "looks cool ^_^" or something just as inane, and would want to say exactly WHY I like a picture, but have so much trouble putting that reason into words... D:

Depends if the person's willing on spending the time to say thanks back. If so, then yes, I'll take the time and comment.

No, not really, sometimes i can't think of stuff to say, and i know that 'GAH!' can be annoying for some...

I'll comment if i have something to say though, even if i don't think they'll comment back.

I like to fav a lot of pictures but don't comment on all because usually I can't think of things to say or I don't have anything to say. If it's a really nice pic and lots of people have said "thats a great picture" "Love this pic" Etc I don't bother cuz my comment has already been said in a different form by many other people.
