Because there seem to be so many (young) people running around flaunting their ADD/short attention spans like it's something to be PROUD of in the same way they complain about education and/or proudly state that they've never finished a whole book or do any sort of mental exercise outside of school, etc. It's really not an accomplishment at all, yet they act like it is...

There are also the types who will complain at someone for being too... long-winded or using too many *big words* as though it was *stupid* or *wrong of them* to not take into consideration this person's short attention span. "Seriously, I lost track of what you were talking about after the third word." Tsk.

I can get bored easily, unfortunately. Which is one of the reasons I can't really focus on drawing and what not, I get bored and horribly, terribly, gruesomely sidetracked.

I can get distracted easilly, yes, but it's usually forced. Like...if I get stuck in the woods with someone i don't like, "Ooo, maple leaf!"
Yup.

You gotta know the rules before you can effectively break them.

ADD, FTL! DX To give you an idea of how short my attention span is, I've been working on an essay for four hours...I have two and a half paragraphs done, and that's working with an outline. -.-; I guess that means I should get the heck offa dA now and finish it, don't it? >.>;

For the record, I dunn look to ADD as any sort of accomplishment, like the people you were talking about in that there comment of yours; then again, I can focus on reading a book or on what people say, but only if it's interesting...anyway...back to homework now. O_<;
